The housing 10 of the power tool shown in the drawing is provided with a docking part 20 for receiving a rechargeable battery unit 22. The latter is replaceable to one or more identical battery units to enable recharging of the battery units after a working period. In order to continuously maintain a voltage supply of the radio communication device 17 and the control unit 16 when disconnecting the battery unit 22, there is a device 25 which accumulates reserve voltage. This backup voltage accumulating device 25 may be an auxiliary battery unit or any other available type of voltage accumulating means, for example a capacitor, a capacitor, for example a high capacity capacitor, or any other similar device. Claims (5) [1] Portable electric power tool, comprising a housing (10) with a connection connector (20) for connecting a power supply source (22), an electric motor (14), an internal operating control unit (16) and a radio communication device (17) for transmitting operating data and operating result data between that power tool and a stationary data processing unit (18), characterized in that a backup voltage accumulating device (25) is arranged internally in that power tool to continuously maintain a voltage supply to the operating control unit (16). [4] A power tool according to any one of claims 1 to 3, in which the backup voltage accumulating device (25) comprises an auxiliary battery unit, which is releasably mounted on the housing (10). [5] A power tool according to claim 1 or 2, wherein said power supply source is an electrical mains system connected to that power tool via a cable, and said connection connector is a cable connection device.
